Raised in the Fort Hunt area, Christina's connection to the Alexandria community is personal and deep-rooted. After earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication from Old Dominion University—where she met her husband, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran—Christina spent several years living and working in Washington, D.C. Ultimately, she and her husband returned to Alexandria to raise their family, drawn back by the close-knit community and strong ties to the place they’ve always considered home.
Christina now lives in the Fort Hunt area with her husband, their two young children, and their Labrador Retriever, "Lou". Her family’s longstanding presence in the area—her father served as a firefighter for the City of Alexandria, and her grandfather held a career with the U.S. Secret Service at the White House—underscores a multi-generational connection to the community and a deep understanding of its neighborhoods, values, and people.
